What Giving In Looks Like

The past couple of weeks have been a bit crazy.

Exciting, scary, confusing, tiring and whatever else all rolled into one.

Rest assured, bad was not part of the mix.

On the upside – I’ve been a guinea pig in my own observatory.

Lots of fodder for obserflection.

For the downside – all best intentions and mental capacity to pull insights into something coherent flew out the window.

At the precise moment of 4:34am this morning when Mind ran off out of control.

For the umpteenth time.

But I wasn’t prepared to give in.

Relaying at least one insight was still possible.

Until thing after thing got thrown in the way.

Each tick of the second hand marked one step closer to admitting defeat.

There was nothing coherent coming out of Mind.

Brain slowly took over control, tipping the body sideways and the eyelids closer to closed.

The end of crazy is in sight.

The big question now is how many insights will be remembered.

And how well they can be pulled together.

I’m looking forward to seeing what happens.

Will keep you posted.

Not quite a crazy cat lady (yet?) – Lorraine’s insatiable curiosity of life leads her to explore, question and push beyond the box. A self-professed “left-brained creative big picture idea” type, she has an intuitive knack for seeing possibility everywhere and in everyone, and is a moth-to-flame for being part of making that possibility come true.
